My next appointment I'll be 16 weeks and I'm hoping they can tell me then so I can start shopping

Yes I too will find out at 20 weeks... Which is still 3 weeks away 😀

At 10 weeks

Did the 3D cost more or was covered through insurance. I keep forgetting to call mine to see what's covered. @jana.bear

My anatomy scan at 24 weeks was WAY better than at 18 weeks. They actually gave me 3D images of his face and everything. At 18 weeks he had way to much room to move away from them and the photos were blurry.

Most OBs won't give you an official confirmation until week 20 since sometimes it can look like one gender and be the opposite. But you can go to a place that does ultrasounds like @haleymclain1121 said

I got a peek around week 15/16 but I found out officially at my anatomy scan at 21 weeks.

I'm finding out at 16 weeks because I'm going to a place where they will do gender ultrasounds starting at 16 weeks for $75. If your OB says 20 weeks then I believe you have to do 20 weeks. Mine said the same thing so that's why I'm going somewhere else to find out early.

So happy for you ladies! I'm trying to be patient but it's all so exciting.

20 weeks is totally normal with actual OBs. I went to a place that does sonograms and found out at 17 weeks.

found out in the later portion of my 22nd week

I wonder if I can convince my OB to do the scan a little earlier than 20?

I just found out today I'm having a baby girl I did the blood one and I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow
