Just a few random questions as a FTM how much & how often did your little ones (around newborn to 2 weeks) eat, what did you do if they became constipated, when did their umbilical cord fall off, how did you take care of the cord, & when did they start sleeping through the night...how did you fix them having their nights & days mixed up?

My son ate every 2-4 hours. If they become constipated there's really not a whole lot you can do. It's normal for a formula fed infant to go days without a bowel movement. Breastfed babies usually go a lot. A pediatrician can give specific instructions for that. His umbilical cord fell off after a week. The only care we were told to do was keep it completely dry... So no real baths, only with a damp washcloth. He started sleeping through the night around 6 weeks. We found the only way he'd sleep at night was if we put him in his crib in his room all by himself. His sound machine and nightlight helped. We also kept curtains open so he could learn to distinguish between day and night. We never put him in his crib for a nap. We have him nap out in the living room and it's helped him to be able to sleep/stay calm even when there's noise and light. He can sleep anywhere!
