can someone please explain preeclampsia numbers to me? they said my number was high at 1.38, but i have seen people's numbers be like 6000. maybe I'm not understanding?

If you add 10% to a number to get a higher number, but then subtract 10% from the higher number, why isn't it equaling the original number?
