Moms of boys- was your son circumcised? If so, were you given instructions on pulling or rolling the skin from the shaft back, away from the head during diaper changes? My doctor told me it wasn't necessary and so I didn't. Now my three month old's head of his penis is almost covered by the skin of his shaft and it's very hard to clean. I'm worried he will need to be recircumcised. Anyone experience this?

my son was, I wasn't given any instructions except to make sure I put a&d on it at diaper changes... he doesn't have any issues now and he's 2 1/2

My son was circumcised but I didn't get instructions on that. Just put the ointment around it and it was fine. i guess because they are babies my son has a little extra skin but no problems with it

you need to take him to the doctor. my brother went thru that and it was necessary to do a small procedure but did not have to recircumcise

My son was curimzied and I was told during diaper changes to pull the skin back use a warm rag to clean his weenie and glob Vaseline on it every change and his healed just fine. I'd personally would take him back to the Dr that did his or his pedi and see if they can redo it before he gets older cause the older they get the worse it hurts them
