I had the Morena for the full 5 yrs. Then got another one for 1 yr then had it removed because it hurt to have sex, like it was getting pushed up too far. I loved the Mirena though, my periods disappeared after the first year.

I had mirena and had constant pain and discomfort until i removed it within an hr after removing it the pains stopped. My fiances niece had the same issue and ended up needing a complete hysterectomy do to it embedding into her uterine wall. I would never recommend iud to anyone.

I loved my Mirena also. I didn't have any complications and was able to get pregnant tight away.

I had mirena for 4 years and loved it. Didn't have any problems at all. I will be getting one again after baby is born. Got pregnant in 3 months after removal and having a perfect pregnancy so far. Didn't have periods either it was nice.

i used mirena for 5 years had removed nov 2014 had a miscarriage with first pregnancy since it in june 2015 and now im pregnant with again a lot of complications.. and in some places they are recalling it so please dont get that one

I had the paragard, and it made my period so heavy I had to use a pad and a tampon and I bled for 8-9 days. I kept it for a year, and was so happy when it was gone. But I have 3 friends with Mirena and they love it, only have 3 periods a year
