My LO is a preemie, he will be 8 weeks old on Thursday but his due date was yesterday. How much exactly would he be recommended to eat based on his age? Idk if I go by his due date or 8 weeks old..

usually you go by the adjusted age. like, my LO is 4 months 1 month adjusted. she eats 70ml

so I'd say give yours like, 10-15ml to start

Oh wow, lol that's a lot. my LO nutritionist said bump up the ml by 5 each week

@xxmegankxx, He was in the NICU for 25 days and he was born at 32 weeks weight 4lbs 7oz and they do the feeding amounts based on weight and he was started at 35ml and was 5lbs 13oz when he left and was at 48ml and he's not getting full he's 8lbs now lol
