I was in Trader Joe's today and picked up an eggplant and a papaya and thought to myself, "this is how big my apps say baby girl is right now...??!" and I placed it against my belly to see how much room she takes up, and all the sudden I started crying... not sad, sorta happy, sorta overwhelmed... I must have weirded so many people out with my produce in my hands on my tummy with tears streaming down my face.  i would be weirded out too.  😕

lol awww. I know it's completely random comparisons and I never really gave it real thought til I was physically in front of the tangible fruit or veggie, holding it was so real.  so scary too! I'm glad your little eggplant was healthy! :)

I never really thought about the size comparisons except when my baby was the size of a corn husk just because coarn(yeah, random a in there) was my itty bitty's nickname. My son was born at 29 weeks, I guess he was kinda the size of an eggplant?? Lol. Never thought about it.
