see because where I live there is no NICU and that bothers me alot just based off all the issues I have had with this pregnancy!

I guess I don't understand why they would even have a hospital without one

seriously though why would they even allow babies to be born there if they don't have a nicu I never understood that and honestly thought every hospital had one till I became pregnant

this is my issue rn, my ob/gyn delivers at this hospital without one and idk how I feel about it I haven't had any complications yet but I mean still its better to be safe than sorry cause I wouldn't want to be separated from him 😪

have u checked out the hospital? I'm going to go do that today, cause if I'm not to sure about the hospital I'm going to try my best ams change to another ob/gyn that delivers at a hospital with one

My hospital doesn't have a NICU, but they can stabilize the baby. They said if I went into labor early or showed signs of risk, they'd immediately send me to a hospital with a NICU. But I can totally see why you'd want one. It'd be nice if mine had one.

@jessmarlene26, yes I did the tour last week and I just don't like the ideathe nurse just said if anything happened to the baby he would be air lifted

oh I see oh and my baby would be sent all the way to Loma Linda and idk how I even feel about that

my son who's 5.5yrs was born at a hospital without nicu an I was left at this hospital without my son who was hr away cause of csection I don't want to take that chance again
