how many baby outfits do you need for the hospital??? and no i dont want to hear your only 20 weeks I'm aware, let me be…

so far i have two outfits packed.

two for yourself and two for baby (packed a newborn and a 0-3 mth) . that's what I packed

I'd take two. One after delivery if you don't want the hospital clothes and a going home outfit

so does that include the coming home outfit? @niyapooh @paisleysmom

I'm not sure, last time my daughter wasn't allowed to wear anything but the hospital issued onesie- until we left..

@raegenice are you only in the hospital one day? mines talking about the minimum Being three and does that include the sleepers? @paisleysmom

@hermommy, when my daughter was born i just has a going home outfit. but with my lil man i cant decide which outfit to take with me.

@hermommy, my hospital is usually 2 days and 3 to 4 days if I have a caesarean.

@hermommy, I'd hope they do. If you call also ask if they issue diapers, wipes, and anything for you like comfortable underwear after delivery and pads. Most hospital do.

@raegenice I know they give diapers and formula but I'll have to call about the rest

Most hospitals only let your baby wear the hospital onsie due to liability reasons. That is until you are leaving to go home & you can put them in whatever. The don't want to be responsible for losing the clothes or having to wash them. I tried with both my girls and the always changed them out. I would pack 3 1 preemie incase she's small, 1 nb and 1 0-3 incase she's big :)

I took like three plus a dress for her pictures but only used one outfit for coming home the hospital had long sleeves for her the whole time and kept her swaddled

they kept changing my baby out of his clothes as well so this time I'm packing an outfit for pictures and an outfit to go home in that's all

How are you going to go around them taking her to the nursery for like hearing test, and blood work? Not trying to sound like a smart ass just curious lol

They don't put babies in nurseries here we keep them in our room and they had all the supplies in the room they had blankets,long sleeves, diapers wipes,pads and underwear

@aren_reitzel because they do all that in the room here.... you can opt for no nursery time at the hospital I'm going to

Here they do all the tests and everything in the room my baby never left my room once besides with me to go walk around they took out all the nurseries in our hospitals here

@mrscruz0530 that's how they do it here, but we still hav nurseries just for the mom if she needs to sleep, the only time they take baby is if they need to be in the NICU

Oh I see ya the NICU is the only reason the baby wouldn't be in the room my daughter slept with me the whole time and I had a bassinet right next to me to put her in if I needed to go to the bathroom

he only went to nursery for bath, hearing test etc I don't like my babies in the nursery

@mrshamilton830 oh okay gotcha, they do all the test in the room with us and I'm electing for delayed/ no first bath for atleast 48 hours

That's neat! Here they take baby for like 30mins atleast to run test. :/

@hermommy, i agree with you my baby will be in my room all the time! they aren't taking my baby out of sight except absolutely necessary.
