I'm just scared to go to 40 weeks with my baby because my diabetes isn't controlled my biggest fear is loosing her to stillbirth... I trust my doctor but I'm really really scared. If you've been through this can somebody tell me their story 😔😕

@mimiz, I try but I'm not much of a variety eater. Minimizing the carbs leaves me to be still hungry& it seems as if my insulin makes me even hungrier.

Ok insulin does make the difference. Ok so do small meals and snacks like if you like eggs do that in the morning they usually fill pretty good and have a snack like veggies or fruits and then do a meat with veggies for lunch and then snack again and then something for dinner and try not to eat after a certain time

Yes, I'm on fast acting insulin with every meal, and 60 units every night. That meal plan doesn't sound to bad. I can give it a try I still have my fears though 😩. @mimiz

nothing. I looked at my medical records. and they have me on high risk watch because when I gave them my first urine sample to be a paitent it showed up positive for marijuana. I told them I stopped smoking and everything and they still test me once a week. I asked them why and they wont tell me.I dont smoke pot! I dont see why if I smoked pot prior to being pregnant why itd be a bigger concerne than my being diabetic.

Exactly they shouldn't be concerned about that as long as you said you stopped but my doctors still collect my urine everytime I go in. I use to smoke but I can't anymore I'm pregnant and probation.. Lol sucks for me. I was never a big smoker anyways, my doctors focus on my diabetes though @shelbil

I smoled rarely. and about a week before I found out I was pregnant my fiancee and I bought our apartment and had a celebration with our friends got high drank some wine. and bam....I told them abouy it and they werent worried.
