doctors are often wrong when estimating babies weight. and 5lbs is still small, baby still has time to bake in there. why would he induce you?

5.9 same as my 1st when she was born at 37.2 weeks

babies' weight can be give/take 3+ lbs. don't let them bully you into an induction unless they can see an issue and be able to show you, like insufficient cord or placental age

@rhonda.otero I believe the sonograms could be good, to make sure there's nothing going on (and you get to see her), but if they aren't finding anything wrong, don't let them induce you.

@stasjafawn, yeah I already stopped my doctor once he was going to induce me at 35 weeks. My high risk doc said that my OB is known to induce too early
