To all the Preggie mommies that have had their babies. How much did your babies eat around day 3 of life and how often? I know all kiddos are different depending on size, but baby girl is taking 2 oz every 2-3 hours. The hospital said she should stay at 1 1/2 for a while. But I remember all my kids drinking a full 2 oz bottle before leaving the hospital.

Girl, feed your baby as much as she needs. They say that they shouldn't eat that much but my daughter did from the moment she was born. She started at 3 ounces. Unless she's constantly spitting up after she eats, she's not eating too much.

@harmoniesmommy2015, that is exactly what my daughter weighed as well lol. Glad to hear I am not over feeding her. At the hospital she was eating 1 1/2 oz every 3-4 hours. Thanks @sarahdrew and @missa7

Doctors are not always the smartest but that seems about right. Do what the baby wants

That about what my daughter was drinking then. Then again she was 9lbs 4oz when I had her.

if she wants to eat that much, I say let her, she will be going thru a growth spurt here in a few days too so maybe her body is gearing up for that?
