@stephaniex, it does get better the week my dog got put down I had my 3rd misscarriage and my gran died was hell! At Xmas it was hard as he loved Xmas with all his new toys! We got a new puppy though 4 months later as we were all lonely she helped a lot xx

@ttcaug15, it's worse, don't think I cried this much when my grandad died. That sounds so bad xx

Oh I know, my other half said exactly the same thing @stephaniex we couldn't stop crying for more than ten minutes for a few days, the only thing is time and to think about the good times and that the dog had a happy life full of love. I got a wee puppy coz I couldn't handle not having a dog anymore, even though it's not nuggie I still find some comfort xx
