its all up to you. I'd say wear a big hat to keep him shaded and if your nursing let him nurse often to keep him hydrated

we have it at a lake house I'd be nursing in there mostly but I don't want to spend the whole time inside away from the family. it'll be the first time I have him out. @mama_mara

my baby was like 4 months, i did have her outside but firework time i went inside! its too loud for them.

It's all about what your comfortable with if you baby wear it will help him keep a cool body temperature. I'm due in august and plan on taking my baby who will be about 2-3 weeks old to the fair it's hot but there are ways to keep baby comfortable. with my first she was about 6 months when summer came we filled up a big bowl of water and let her play in that
