Does anyone have any remedies to ease the pain of contractions.. I wasn't dilated at my appointment this week but my contractions have gotten worst. I try to lay down to endure most of them but I don't know what else to try. Some really hurt. Some I barely feel :/

Try to walk and focus on something else. Or listen to music and visualize something happy. Take deep breaths. If deep breaths don't work, try small light ones.

Usually when I walk they get worst. After walking for awhile I'm in so much pain I want to curl up in a ball @raegenice

If it becomes unbearable definitely go to L&D

I've heard staying active to keep your mind off and keep progressing. my friend said, bounce on a ball if you have one, or the corner of your bed, or take a shower.

she also said kinda sway back and forth while standing or walking? sounds weird and hard to explain, instead of walking kinda side step/waddle

I'll bounce on the ball every night for like 10-20 minutes. Right now they're irregular. They happen more at night. Today has been pretty bad, I'm sick to my stomach, I have a back ache, and the contractions are pretty bad. 😩 I just want them to be real. @muva.mermaid @kaylaweilert

They could be. I felt like that when I was in labor. If it increase definitely go to L&D. I had my son at 36 weeks. But my water broke lol.

@cass_lynne, maybe a heating pad, rice sock, or warm rag ?? ☹️
Cassandra·
I'm almost 37 weeks. But that I think is still too early for my son. I haven't had any other signs of labor approaching. I just pee a lot and have back ache and contractions. @kaylaweilert @muva.mermaid

hmm maybe your Braxton hicks are just getting stronger. you could just lay on your side and relax with a heating pad or take a warm bath

It sucks they don't don't admit you Hun honestly you're what 36-37 weeks and you have to stick out the pain?? My hospital would keep me and stop them and if they couldn't just keep me to monitor me to prepare for what's going to happen the least they could do is help you with pain in sorry you're going through this

All I can tell you hun is every pregnancy is different, every labor is different. You will know when it is your time. Just take a breather! But if you cannot handle it, you should definitely go to L&D. Your time is definitely coming soon!
Cassandra·
Thank you. It's bearable, I was just wondering if some mom had good remedies. I definitely don't need to be admitted. I don't want to pay for that and there's no need, I know I'm not in real labor yet and I don't want meds for Braxton hicks. I have to fight through them if I want my natural birth. I know it's not time for my son to arrive yet. I am more sure he will be here at 39 weeks. It's too early. @muva.mermaid @mimiz

Definitely I try baths and massages if you can and relaxing moving around relieves them if they're Braxton hicks I run my belly and breathe through them since that's what I did for labor pains and shower massaging my back helps a lot to if that would help you maybe sit and let the shower hit you with warm water
