Aawww. We had a few iguanas when I was younger. They were actually real nice and lovely. One was name candi ... She ended up passing and they cut her open and she had a lot of cancer inside her body :(.

@hermommy, aww thanks I like to think so even if she has scales not fur lol @pixiestix, yea it takes time for them to calm down. Shaggy is an exception cause she was very ill when I got her at 6 months maybe a little younger so she spent a good year pretty docile so she got very use to being held and pampered lol @crixxy bearded dragon how cute❤️ my daughters have one at their dads house. @afcboy11 I had 3 growing up and this is my 3rd as an adult.

Blue is pretty chill once hes been held for a bit and will just sit, but he still hates me walking past his terrarium and stuff. lol

My brother had one in SC that would go to the door when he had to go to the bathroom lol. Always went outside on his own party except one day my brother left him out and he never came back. :( Never did figure out what happened to him

@pixiestix, Shaggy has also been a free roam iguana since about a month after I got her. I just hated the tank and she did too. Plus was too hard to take on the road with me for my job. But they love being high up so if can put her tank at a level which she is at eye level with you Blue be more comfortable. If ever need ig help greenigsociety.org is a great site 😊

thanks! I've had one before with an ex of mine but we got rid of him because at the time we just didnt have time for him with 3 kids under 5 running around nonstop. i would love for Blue to be a free roamer but with our dogs and cats and him being soo small still, im afraid he would just get hurt, hes safer in his tank for the time being. hopefully we can get a bigger house with an extra bedroom and just make it his room. lol

@afcboy11, they are pretty trainable mine uses kitty litter box or water. I had one that disappeared in our yard as a kid. Feel bad we lived in the cold so no way survived after the summer :(
