I was at my nieces birthday party yesterday. My 2 year old was playing with a mickey mouse balloon when all of a sudden a 7 year old boy came over and took it from him. I looked at my 2 year old and I told him you go get your balloon go get it....he went to the little boy and punched him. I am the type of parent that will teach my children to stand up for themselves to not be walked on, pushed around or bullied! I was proud of my little boy. Needless to say he did get his balloon back.

Good for you momma!! That's how we are... We have taught the boys to stand up for themselves. We taught them to not be bullies but If something like that happens; don't let them.

@shananaginsx, these days you have too! my boys are sweet and love to share, but they won't be bullied. Happy my daughter and my 2 year old are close in age she's got herself a protective big brother.

You really do! That's how ours are. They are sweet and play well, but daddy made sure to teach them how to defend themselves so nobody walks all over them. They know the difference. It was something important to teach them and to protect each other! Awh, but that is great!
