Sneezing, coughing, laughing and passing gas are not fun after a c section even 3 weeks later.. FML

How did your c section go? If you don't mind me asking. I may have to have one and I just want to know the procedure of them closing it back up and if it's going to leave a scar or very visible to see?

@torinicole.t, mine was an emergency c section after laboring for 15 hours and only at 5 cm baby's heart rate kept dropping. I was so exhausted and on so much drugs I don't remember the actual procedure although I was awake so I'm not help there. I was able to get up and walk just 6 hours after though but was on a morphine drip and trimidol and Motrin the day after then was just on Percocet and Motrin the rest of the time so I wasn't really in pain. You will be really sore but it gets better day by day and walking the halls helps. The fist poo is hard so take a stool softener. My incisions looks great and is really low below bikini line. It is a small scar though and I was closed with glue on the outside and not staples or stitches which is Great so try and request it if you can depending on how much scar tissue you have probably. Ah so detailed thank you so much for the info! Had no idea closing with glue was a thing lol. Hope you start to feel much better soon 🙂

@torinicole.t, you're welcome. I think it's dissolvable stitches on the inside but definitely glue outside. I heard the staples and stitches hurt worse.

yes! especially when I lay on my back!
