hey ladies I have some questions to ask.
who else has a toddler and expecting again? well I have a 2yr old daughter expecting another baby girl in July. yes I understand my daughter is only 2 but I've tried explaining to her that there's a baby in me and she gets all happy then the next minute she'll be clawing my stomach or kicking my stomach real hard I've told her that there's a baby in there and she'll hurt it if she kicks or hits my stomach but she still continues to do so. and sometimes her dad baby's her but most of all my mother in law does. she baby's her when she starts doing it and its frustrating because that's like telling her its okay to hit/kick my stomach. how do I get my daughter out of that habit?

She shouldn't be hitting or kicking any part of anyone's body. At 2 they're not dumb, she understands what she's doing is wrong. Don't be fooled.

she just laughs I hate I've taken away movie time play time everything and she'll be good for 30mins or less and back at hitting me.

Maybe show her a video of a baby so she can fully realize it's her sister or brother or get her involved! Tell her to help you read to baby and get her excited about the new addition! Praise her when she does well. Good luck @pb14baby16

she is involved we've included her in my pregnancy announcement in out gender announcement we've included her in everything. I've told her there's a baby I've showed her the pictures.
