I don't think 24 is what I would consider a "young mother". I think of teenagers when I think of young moms. But then again I live in Utah where you're an old maid of you haven't had kids by 26.

@jana.bear, I had my first at 22 and i'm pregnant with my second at 24. Where i'm from its considered young lol. well in my town at least

Well that's a downright average age to be on your second child where I'm from. Everybody assumes I had a hard time conceiving or find a husband since I'm having my first at 27. It's interesting to see the difference location can make with what is an "acceptable" time to start a family.

I'm 24, but people see a teenager when they look at me. It's not my fault I look so young. If they only knew I was happily married, and this child WAS planned :)
