so I'm currently being watch at the hospital until Sunday morning. I came for my regular check up and had a headache plus feet were swollen and blood pressure was higher than normal so they did a urine test and I have protein in my urine. my blood pressure was just taken and it was 117/64 so it's not high anymore. has anyone gone through this? did you get induced? pls help!

For my first pregnancy I went in for my weekly appointment, I was 38 weeks. I got checked and stuff you know the normal and my blood pressure was at 140/90 something..my doctor was going to send me to the hospital to get monitored but when she checked if I had dilated she just sent me in to get induced because I was 4 cm dilated. I didn't feel anything! I also had protein in my urine..after I gave birth I got my blood pressure checked again and it was high it was in the 160s so I was put on magnesium to control my blood pressure and make sure I didnt get any seizures. Thank God everything got under control!Hope everything goes well for you!

I've had high blood pressure since I was 22 weeks and on medication. I'm 36 weeks now and today at my appointment, they found my blood pressure was high so I am on bed rest and had to take my maternity leave early.

I'm not sure how high it is.. last time they checked they told me it wasn't that high.. @dovie

just depends on how high your protein level is and if your doctor is concerned.

I had high.blood.pressure for.two weeks in a row then they found out I had protein in my urine then they induced me. But I was 39 weeks.and 2 days.
Is it just my docs? Idk why, but every time I go to the doctor they just check my blood pressure, weight, urine, baby's heartbeat, and send me on my way!
so my last appointment they found protein in my urine, trace of blood and my blood pressure was high. well now I'm starting to get blurred vision ( were I can't even see) and spots in my eyes. And then it will go away. also I haven't been able to eat and now I've lost alot of weight and now weighing 114. anyone have any ideas of what's going on
I just need to rant! my blood pressure has been great my whole pregnancy my weight is doing good, but I calledy doctor and spoke to a nurse because my cramping I've been having at night and she says no I need to come in that's is really bad so I went in my blood pressure was high because I was sitting here freaking out and shaking and in the mean time cramping when I got there and I get to see the doctor and he goes ur blood pressure was high so now I'm having to do a 24 hr urine sample freaking out thinking I have high blood pressure even tho my blood pressure has always been good before. now all I can look at is stuff online about preeclampsia and just wanna cry
Update Today my blood pressure was 158/94 and 140/101 for the second reading so they called the hospital to tell them I'll be on my way for induction. Currently sitting at my house just freaking out but about to head to the hospital.
if my blood pressure doesn't drop and stay the same and I go to the hospital & they can't control it , is it possible I can go into labor

That is what they were going to do with me but since i was already 4cm dilated at 38 weeks my doctor just decided to induce me. Hopefully your blood pressure gets under control so you wont have to get induced! Unless that is the best for you and baby..I think you will be fine don't worry! 😊
