My family keeps yelling at me for buying things for my baby, when all I've bought is a bathing suit, 2 onesies , 1 pant, 1 shorts, and a couple dresses. Nothing that serious. They claim I won't have anything for people to get me at the shower, ugh they frustrate me !

Haha. My mother has been the same way!!!! Except, we have bought quite a bit for the twins. But in my defense, there are two and will need twice as much. There's so much to buy for a baby. Your friends and family will not have a problem.

That is so annoying! I used to get yelled at for buying things before my shower, but I was like I'm only buying the "big" items, I didn't expect people to buy me 2 pack n plays or 2 swings. some people.... sorry your dealing with it, that sucks and kinda puts a damper on things...

exactly! a baby is always fun to buy for! besides you really can't have to much stuff at least in my opinion lol

my grandma did the same thing but I'm glad I bought the stuff I did which was mainly all the big stuff stroller car seat stuff like that cause barely anyone came to my showers and I definitely wouldn't have gotten any of it from them. the most expensive thing I got from my showers was a pack and play.
