tonight there was a women who had cancer (only knew that after we talked) I figured she was just sick. her and her husband had been there way before us and people where going back before her we even got called before them. I asked the girl if they had more in their group or if it was just two. she wasn't sure so I asked the lady she said it's just us and looked at me weird I still had my buzzer thing that was going off so I handed it to her and said well switch. ( she was standing the whole time and looked very tired people would look at her than sit down on the chair and didn't once ask if she wanted to sit) she smiled and said I can't take that your having a date night I can tell I said our date can wait a few more minutes plus I got to work up some room in my belly. she laughed and said thank you so much and bless your heart. my husband helped her and her husband to their seat she has oxygen. we got back maybe 20 minutes later and they seat us pretty close to them the lady told me about her life and said she had cancer she asked if I was pregnant. ( there was no way she could of known I had a bigger shirt on and I hardly have a bump) I said yes I am she said about 12 weeks right I said 11 and 3 days. I was so confused and she said your baby boy is very blessed. I started crying. she started crying when they left my husband walked them out and came back the husband gave him their phone number! made both of our nights

@marienoelle, @raegenice @andiryan93 @lovelyniters my husband called them when we got home to make sure they made it okay the husband started crying saying since her treatment and her losing hair no one seems to think she's human anymore but today we made her feel like she wasn't fighting cancer but like she was a normal person. my husband cried I've never seen him cry. he told them we should go out for dinner more often. I talked to her for a little while and I asked how she knew I was pregnant she said I had a motherly instenct to myself. she told me she doesn't have it because she can't have kids anymore.. I seriously balled my eyes out and told her when my baby gets here we can have play dates her and my baby and me and her puppies!

@lovelyniters, that's what I said. I told the women about my health problems and when she said she didn't feel like a human it hit home cause till this day I don't feel human or normal. I told her no matter what your human it's the people who make you feel like you aren't that aren't human. she looked at me like I had something on my face and said your really young but have the heart and soul of a women older than me. it was an amazing night for sure! :)

It's stories like this that give me hope that there still are good people in this world! I have lived through cervical cancer and know how hateful people truely can be.....

@snowbaby313, it's horrible before I talked to her I told my husband I wish we had a sit to give her he was gonna go tell a group of teenagers to move but he never did. she's a wonderful person and even the workers treated her different

@tiffanybrazeal, people are heartless! When I was getting chemo, the nurse couldn't hit the vein so she was digging in my arm, I asked her to try another spot and she said very rudely just don't move I will find it! As she kept digging I threw up from the pain and she got mad and ripped the rubber band terniquit off my arm and screamed, I told you not to fucking move..... I was already weak from the Chemo and she had a bad attitude. I got her fired, she shouldn't be treating people who are fighting for their life, like they are less of a person!

@snowbaby313, I have to get blood drawn every 3 weeks and if they miss twice I make them get someone else. if they dig once I make them get a new person. before I go in I make sure this one guy or this girl are working if they aren't I try to wait. they are the only people who can get my vein once.
