Has anyone tried raspberry tea to induce labor? If so, did it work?
bug primrose old capsules don't induce labor just kinda get things ready and as the doctor said u r cervix has to be soft in order to thin out and dilate
I used primrose oil capsules and insert 4 down below at nite and as doctor said it will soften cervix and next thing u know I started dilating
Not that I'm aware...I had mine a large ice rasberry tea with regular sugar from Dunkins. I think like 3 or 4 hrs later my water broke and I was in full on labor! the thing is though these trucks will only work if your body is ready. it's like having a needle in one hand and balloon in the other trying to pop it verses a needle pressed against the balloon then pushing it in slightly. that's why sometimes it will work and sometimes not. do u get what I'm saying??
what ^ said, it isn't meant to induce labor. my doctor said any chance it does after you drink it, is kind of luck. but if you're looking to do it, it has to be raspberry leaf tea. the leaf is supposed to do the "trick" and its on Amazon I believe.
@justmarriedhavingaboy, does it matter what kind of raspberry tea? Does it need to be organic?
It's not meant to induce labor it's meant to tone your uterus and prep your body for labor.
The kind that has an effect on toning your uterus has to be raspberry leaf tea--not raspberry fruit tea.
