finally lol I no longer have to use the ER labor and delivery will take me😄😄😄 hopefully they don't…

it's a good feeling when that happens lol I hated the er, they always had to call the on call ob Dr to consult with them... I was like if you are going to call them why not just send me up to labor and delivery where the nurses know more than the er Dr's apparently lol

exactly... they told me my daughter had an uncoiled cord that could cause death.... I went in 2 days later and the Dr I saw (been a dr for like 40 years) was like "I have never heard of such a thing before, unless our tech said something you're fine"

@sarahdrew about right. The er is always the first to say some dumb bull shit, at 10 weeks they brought up placenta previa😐 my ob was like sweetie it's to early to diagnose that so the my doctor got to explain that to me and of course it went to partial then completely moved by 14 weeks lol

lol after that experience I only listened to my obs ultrasound tech lol.... my previa was diagnosed at 20 weeks and it was complete and never moved :( that was during my first pregnancy

it is scary.... I had my c-section scheduled for 39 weeks.... I was told by my Dr (his exact words lol) "if you have any bleeding, I don't care how minimal, or if you have contractions get our pregnant self up to this hospital" (20 min drive from my house).... I had contractions and was admitted overnight at 30 weeks, diagnosis false labor (thank god) and then 2 and a half weeks later I woke up and was bleeding and went in for 2 hours (my Dr was out of town) and sent home, sneezed and started bleeding again, was told to come back in for over night observation.... ended up delivering that night (32 weeks 4 days) my son was in distress, his heart rate would go up over 200 and drop below 100.... he was 5 pounds 5 ounces and only spent 11 days in the nicu.... was scary but he's a happy healthy 2 year old and you would never know he had a crazy entrance to the world lol

I was scared, my husband wasn't there, (my mom was thankfully) we were told I wasn't going to deliver so he went to dj his nephews wedding, I told him to go... the bleeding started and stopped 3 more times the last time it took longer to stop that's when the Dr came in and turned the monitor so I couldn't see it, then said he had to deliver and I asked him to wait for Dustin and he said "15 minutes not a second more" he was already on his way but I called and told him and he drove 90 to get there.... go there just in time to say "you are going to be ok, he's going to be ok, it's all going to be fine" he went in to put scrubs on and they took me down... no time for a spinal so he couldn't be in there.... it was 15 hours before I held him for the first time (he was born at 11:45 at night).... he is completely happy lol he makes me laugh all the time

it was super super scary (I was hysterical they didn't think I would be able to sign the consent forms ) but it all worked out.... I don't tell the whole story to a lot of people, I just usually tell people "I had my son at 32 weeks 4 days and he was in the nicu for 11 days" ... It is still hard for me sometimes even tho I didn't do anything wrong it just happened

my mom calmed me down she said "I think Dr tugwell (pretty funny name for an ob lol) has done a few of these before" he was 62 at the time lol

on my Facebook (my name is my name on here I'm not too original lol) I have a bunch of pictures of him in the nicu, I think I even have some from the first time I held him and you can see the tape on top of his head.....
