Question about cribs and play n packs.. My boyfriend got the baby a crib & I really wanted to get…

I have a pack n play and a bassinet and I'm getting a crib too. the crib will be for night time when she outgrows the bassinet and the pack n play will be for naps during the day

I've had a crib since before my son was born. And my husband & I have Co slept with him since the day he was born, a few months ago we started transitioning him into his own bed but he only sleeps in his room half the night since he nurses in the middle of the night still. he's about 13 months old now and I still breastfeed. it's much easier to breastfeed when you Co sleep than get in and out of bed all night especially the first couple months.

I have the packn play that comes witj bassinet attachment. We will keep that in our room. Dont have crib yet but plan to for when baby gets bigger

My husband & I bought a bassinet/swing combination for sleeping next to our bed. We have a two story home so we also got the pack-n-play for naps downstairs so I'm not climbing the stairs all day. Then the crib for the room, but we got a convertible crib so that it grows with her....

We currently co sleep with my daughter. She's almost 3 months and hates her bassinet and crib. She wakes up as soon as she notices she's in there😫 her doctor said to start putting her in there now so she can get in the routine but it's so hard and much easier for her to sleep by me😓

Okay thanks ladies,I may just get a basinet for her @arijane316 @coltroyalsmama1224 @oliviasmama1211 @queenli @tmross and just put the crib up til she gets around 10 months

Well the thing with bassinets is that they have a weight limit, usually about 15 lbs

so a packnplay would be best @arijane316 ?

Yea and it saves you some money too. the pack n plays, if they don't come with attachments, have an adjustable height bottom to them, so when hey start getting to the point of sitting up or crawling on their own, you can lower the mattress all the way down and then they won't fall out of it. I can send you a picture of mine so you know what I mean
