@hermommy, true. It just sucks that I wasted 7 months of trying when I could possibly already have success by now. And I'm not looking forward to those meds 😬😑

do you have a period?? you do try to start with just metformin :) that does suck and I know how you feel girl:/

I have known a couple of ladies who have had babies with PCOS! It was a bit harder for them, but it's definitely possible! At least you know now and can work at a solution 😊

@hermommy, I do have periods, but they are much different than from when I was younger. More spotting than anything. And more irregular.

Thanks @jhussey it was just depressing news. I've had ultrasounds many times before and no one else has ever told me about it. Quite frustrating. I get another ultrasound next week to see if I'm ovulating (he suspects I'm not at all judging by my ultrasound) and blood levels at the beginning of next cycle

yupyup, that's how mine were and I have PCOS chances are they'll give ou provera and metformin to start and then if that doesn't work throw in femera or Clomid.But I swear by metformin it only took me a month to two

@hermommy, that's awesome! My doctor mentioned starting with Clomid? I'm not sure why that over metformin, but I can always ask

most of the time, a woman with PCOS has an insulin resistance so metformin fixes that your doctor may just wanna get you pregnant asap but I know if you have it mild to moderate I wouldn't start with Clomid... Clomid is very invasive and can only be done a couple of times:/ Maybe just bring metformin up and see what he says

Hey girly, I'm taking this herb called vitex(chaste berry or agnus castus)! do a little research on it, I heard it works great for ppl with pcos. & it's natural with no hormones!
