You should be able to call and cancel immediately I believe

mine took about a week. I was in NY and then to Texas.

@taraandbabydolan, @misstheophile do either of you know if they notify you when it's canceled or not? I'm not aloud to apply in this state until it's canceled over there.

I think u just call and say "I want to cancel." And they say ok and do it lol idk. I don't think it's very hadd

When I called I told them I moved to Texas and I wanted to cancel my medicaid and they ask for all that basic stuff and then checked back at the end of the week and that was it. I know some of these folks are rather lazy and hate to do their jobs so I called to check up to see if it was really canceled.
