been having contractions pretty regularly all day. ive only been timing them since 3:30 but they've been consistent. and just about an hour ago my back started cramping really bad as well. (lower back/tailbone area) plus I feel nauseous. could this mean labor will be in the next couple days?

It could mean labor tonight honestly. If they get to 5mins apart, about 1min long, for an hr then you should go in.

Ive been having this same problem for over a week but unless the contractions get like 5 min apart I wouldn't go in. and the back pain is probably the baby sitting on the sciatic nerve from dropping so low

@twinmommy_416, they've been 5 min apart for hours. but im not planning on going anywhere until im in tears over the pain. and its not my sciatic nerve ive had that pain for years and its not even close to that. lol.

well I think that the sciatic nerve pain is deff the worst ever. it feels like one of them is coming out of my back. but some people don't have painful labor so just be careful waiting. you might have a home birth lol. But Ive been in tears for days in pain and haven't atr or slept and they won't do anything for me :/

@twinmommy_416, yeah the sciatic pain is terrible, I mostly would get it all the way from my back to my legs and it drove me crazy. thankfully its not been bad during my pregnancy. and im hoping that doesnt happen lol, I just know my doctor told me if i cant walk or talk through the contractions then to come in. but its not that bad yet
