They thought i had it to cause my bp was high at a couple of appointments including protien in my urine. But they will just monitor your bp and have you watch for symptoms of it

I wouldn't worry too much worse comes to worse you're at least far enough along the worst they'd do is prolly induce or c section but idk cause I've never dealt with that

Are you dilated and is your cervix open/effaced? More than likely if there's no issues going on with your cervix they'll induce you no problem to speed up the birthing process so baby can come into the world and so you won't experience further complications. They'll probably put you on magnesium during labor to lower your BP if you have pre-e. My best friend went through it, thankfully she was at least 36 weeks.

@mercyoftea, I wouldn't worry, high BP happens and I pray you don't have pre-e so your little one can come on their own. But so long as they're monitoring you, you'll be fine. You're far enough along that they just might have to help your cervix open and induce you.

@raegenice, ok do you know how many vials they'll have to take? I want to mentally prepare myself.

They took a few viles of my blood at every single prenatal appt. It's really not that bad. Good luck.

They might just but you on bedrest. My bp was raising at my 37 week apt and they put be on bedrest then at my 39 week apt it was even higher then it had been at 37 and 38 so she sent me over to be induced but I was already in active later when I got there

@raegenice, @alyen2 @kparis ok thanks. They just took 2 vials and I gotta do a 24hr urine test. I'll be OK even if I have it because Jr is measuring right on track (7ish lbs) and I'm close enough to my due date that if he came any day now it would be OK. Been in prelabor since last night anyways.
