Personally I would say electric. I tried both and didn't the the manual one. Your arm gets tired quickly and it took longer to milk out. I only used the manual one when baby would sleep through the night and I needed a little bit of relief before he woke up. For stocking up milk electric is the way to go for a quick release until baby eats then manual.

quicker and suction on one side actually supports letdown on the other side..

Double electric. I have the medela one I love it. It's so much easier and faster 😊
