Bout to leave my baby for my first 12 hour shift 😫😫😫 I'm gonna miss my little munchkin.

@nursebetti, how was it leaving her for 12 hour shift. Not looking forward to that hence the reason I keep extending leave. Plus I work nights.

@nurseriri, this is my first day doing 12's so far it's been okay. She's with my mom so I call and text often. I'm only going back per diem, two weekends a month so I can't complain too much.

That's not bad. I think about it all the time. I have a full time plus per diem. But per diem is 8 hours so that's not bad.

@nurseriri, yeah I was doing 8's at my other place for awhile but that place is too busy and caused me to have a blocked duct so I haven't gone back

@nurseriri, yikes. That's why I want to be home at least 6 months of his life and have enough stored milk for the year. Because it gets crazy busy and prob no time for pumping. But nevertheless good luck back out at work. Seems like you got it under control not to mention your mother is with her. We have a sitter because we both work night shift.
