it really makes me mad when nurses don't listen! this is a week later where they blew my vein getting blood and starting an IV. I worked at a hospital and have started IVs, so I know how mine needs to be done and she didn't care. It just makes me mad every time I look at it 😠

@amber188 wow. I swear now days some of the nurses don't listen, like damn you worked in a hospital plus you know your own body. That's just pitiful definitely call on her. I had a nurse not listen to me and tried to take blood from my hand when i told him those rolled and the MF popped my vein I was pissed.

girl, I got stuck like a pincushion today and they hardly got a drop out, I'm so over people who can't get a good stick. I'm gonna be covered in bruises tomorrow.

I was doing my glucose test today and they only had 2 people on staff in the lab to draw my blood. after 30 minutes of sticking me and digging around in my veins they called my OB and she told them to give me a break and I can try again next week. and I am the WORST with needles too, if they take too long I get hot, then nauseaus, and either puke or pass out, and I knew puking wasn't an option with the glucose test lol.

omg that is horrible lol!! I'd ask on of the RNs on staff to do it next time! my OBs phlebotomist is the same she makes it really painful and she's such a bitch lol @maybabyboy

my OB only has 1 nurse, it's a practice and each doctor has their own nurse, so they don't do the blood draws and stuff. usually this lab is good, last time they got me in one easy stick and got 7 vials no problem. these girls today tho...

she should have still listened to you because its your body. I had one for the first time and it hurt so bad, I couldn't even move my arm after she took the needle out and bruised right away
