Diagnosed with extreme anxiety pre-pregnancy...
This has been one of my hardest things I have had to deal with during my pregnancy so far. This morning, I had an anxiety attack and freaked out. I have no idea what the trigger was, but it had me completely flipped upside down.
I went to the doctor and he told me I would have to visit my primary physician (which takes forever to get an appointment to see, thanks to MEDI-CAL).
Has any else had this problem and have figured out ways to keep anxiety down through pregnancy? I am in desperate need of tips and new stress relievers.

I have bad anxiety, close your eyes.... Breath deeply and immediately think of something that will ground you like for me it's my daughter it calms me down then go take a warm shower

@hermommy, I have a hard time with grounding.. I usually have a panic attack before I can wrap my head around anything. Sometimes my anxiety is induced because I am not able to take deep breaths (due to asthma). Warm baths usually help you though? I might find myself soaking in my tub a lot then.

I see a psychiatrist for my ptsd, bipolar disorder and anxiety disorder. I have to take meds, it's been determined better with meds than without. My therapist suggested me to do math problems as soon as the anxiety starts, it will take your mind off of whatever is causing it to figure out the math problem....if your good at math make it tougher no paper allowed has to all be done in your head
