I have seen what drug addicted babies go through by being a NICU mom...it really hurts my heart to see them suffer so much 😢 What selfish person would choose to do drugs while they are pregnant? How can you? I dont care what anyone says....if you get pregnant, you give that crap up once and for all! No questions asked or time wasted!

Addiction is incredible. I met my birth mother last year and it was hard because I know she only managed to keep custody of the last of her 7 kids and the 6th, my beloved sweet Jack, couldn't walk for a long time and will always be a year behind mentally and cant comprehend what he reads very well and I know that is her fault...I can understand her struggle but how can you struggle for SO long??? And mess up all the way down the line for all of us? It sucks knowing not one of us was enough motivation to do better and that she progressively actually got worse and kept having babies even though they were being taken away forever due to incompetence

Not defending because I have zero tolerance for people who do drugs, period. However, so mom's are so messed up they don't realize they're pregnant until close to the end. I had a friend who drank and smoked for the first 6 months of her pregnancy.
