For a long time with my daughter, who is now a year and half, I didn't even think about the milk I was giving her- which was causing her to stay up all night. After 14 months of waking up twice a night, I had enough and tried something else; goats milk! Cows milk has too much sugar and it doesn't break down real well. I would see what the ages are for anything that's not soy or cows milk.

Its very common at his age, but I wouldn't put him on soy. If soy is all you have then you have too, but look into other milks.

How did you find out officially that he was lactose intolerant ?

I understand that, but what did he do to find out ?

He was basically showing signs my sons doctor asked me a list of questions and symptoms that relate to him being lactose intolerant. From there my son was put on soy formula and he's doing better now
