Yes it was definitely worth it because my lil guy came at 37 wks 4 days. He was 5 11 at birth and 5 9 when we were discharged. He's a month and a half now and weighs 8 1/2 lbs. We're still using the insert. My pack and play was a bit of a struggle lol
