Who all has taken the tdap and flu vaccine? And if you didn't was you baby still OK?
I got my flu shot when I was 7 months and my tdap shot a week ago at exactly 9 months. I got sick a month after my flu shot though
Vaccinations are imperative. Pertussis is nothing to risk - and if you have ever had true influenza you would never question the flu shot again!! IMO
I probably will get it, for the same reason @whitneym did. I'm not a big believer of vaccines later on in life, but I feel that he should get them early on.
@justdanny18, nope and it was my first time getting it the shot. I rarely get sick though and have never had the flu. Only reason I caved and got it was because the doctor said it'll protect the baby once he's born since I'll be in his system too.
Yea half of my friends did and half didn't. I get sick really back with flu vaccines and I'm scared it will hurt my baby to. Because when I got sick with it last time it was bad. And a lot of people say the baby still gets it after delivery? Are you planning on doing the tdap? @laneylovesyou
I got the flu shot (never got it before but doctor recommended it) and I got sick 3/4 times. Several other friends said they don't get the flu shot during pregnancy and have all been fine. Haven't done TDAP.
@justdanny18,and I know moms who haven't and their baby was healthy also. If you don't want to just make sure none even with a slight cough is around and he/she should be fine 😊
i did the flu shot and im at 13 weeks. i only did it because doctor stated that if i were to get sick it can be bad for the baby and i can become hospitalized. im so far okay!! and same for the baby. i probably wont get it again after i have the baby. im not to high on the flu shot... i did it more for the baby.
