I want to completely quit smoking by Saturday. Any advice??
When I quit I had cinnamon altoids and gum with me all the time. I also kept a water bottle with me and would constantly drink water to help flush out the toxins instead of constantly smoking. I started going on walks and jogs to help too and make me feel like I'm making progress while I'm quitting and getting the crap out.. which helped me get over it faster. That and I googled about the effects of smoking on your body to help the psychological addiction. :) Hope this helps! Good luck girl.
It is tough girl. I use to smoke and once I found out I was pregnant I still tried to smoke but only took one hit then threw the rest of it out. I did that for a few days but I just kept thinking of my baby and then I completely stopped. The smell now completely disgust me. But I will pray for u, u can do it girl!
switch to e cigarettes or a type you hate so that you wean off the nicotine without the "good" parts. For example, if you like menthol use regular. If you hate cigars or cigarillos try those. Quitting cold turkey can be dangerous while pregnant.
I have heard that cinnamon candys and drinking water when you wanna smoke helps.
It took me forever to quit ... gum and altoids. .... and tooth picks or straws ... helped a lot.
