you're 38 weeks!! I don't see why helping the process along is a big deal! I don't really like when moms who are around 33 weeks ask how to self induce, mainly because it scares Me!

that is too early! but I've seen mom's who are 37 weeks who are asking for ways to help progress.. especially when they are already dialated and effaced some!!!! and I see the people commenting "pregnancy is 40 weeks for a reason..." it drives me insane! I've been trying to find ways because I am doing a vbac this time... and at my 36 week appt (last time they checked me) I was still completely closed and swollen.. my cervix had only shortened... so I wanna move things forward a bit.. because if I don't go into labor by 41 weeks I'll have to do another c section. @nichole_lynn

I completely agree! Pregnancy is hard and when you have other kids at the same time even harder! But I don't think people should bash on other moms just because they say I want my baby here no one is wishing for an unhealthy child!

its always the TTC women that are saying those things. like it isn't our fault that other people can't or are having a hard time getting pregnant, and we could. ignore them because we know what its like to be pregnant, and all the uncomfortable things it comes with, but it doesn't mean we don't enjoy our pregnancy or our babies. ignore them, and complain/try to induce all you want. and just a tip, the best way to induce is to relax. tension works against the body and the baby will feel it and not want to come. all I have done for my first two pregnancies is just walk, never did more and they came easy and fast. but hope something works for you.

exactly! and I mean I know there are unsafe ways... but I don't see how sex and stuff should be frowned upon... like the next person to tell me to just be patient... may not like my response! @julieannnie

I work at a daycare so I'm constantly on my feet... and today I actually ran.. ( one of my one year olds chased me with a vaccum) lol!!! and I was going to try the sex thing.. but we will see! I know He will come when he is ready... as long as it's by 41 weeks I don't care! I just don't want a c section again! @kelseys

Yesssss..... And I feel so bad for the moms who do say something like that then 10 more moms attack them ... It's like calm down don't you realize we are all dealing with crazy hormones and to have people be so mean about it .... In my opinion you don't like what someone post just move on no need to comment it's not your problem!

understandable but other people need to be more understanding of why you need to get things moving along and not just judge you. I've always read other peoples comments and they say to do squats, pineapple, sex, walking, bouncing on the ball. maybe ask your doctor to strip your membrane.

I will! I have an appt tomorrow and I'll be 38 weeks and 4 days... so that should be pretty close... I've never gone this far.. and I was induced with my twins... so not sure how that feels... sounds a little scary! Haha @kelseys @julieannnie

its not that scary, just uncomfortable. I think my doctor did mines on accident when trying to check my dilation because she did it for like 2mins and put a lot of pressure because she said she couldn't feel my cervix, and I went into labor in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. so hopefully it works for you

My sister was induced and she said she didn't like how long it took being in labor for what felt like forever . But my best friend was induced as well and she ended up having the baby 6 hours later naturally so I think it's just different with every woman but I wish you the best!!!

when I got induced I was in labor for 11 hours haha thankfully I can't be induced this time! @julieannnie
