so.. repeat moms.. were you disappointed when the second baby wasn't the sex you hoped for? my hubby…

@bryndon.or.skylar0724, I know you're always supposed to want healthy.. But I think I would've been sad if it wasn't a boy. I think it's normal to be kinda disappointed. Esp if it's your last!

At first I was disappointed. This is our last and we have one girl and 3 boys. We so much wanted a girl, but shortly after getting the news I'm fine with it. We have known for a while now so we are just excited to meet our new little boy.

I was a little disappointed that I'm having another boy (because my son died) but I'm just thrilled to have a second chance at being a mommy

I cried for days after my found out my 1st was a girl but my lil Tom boy is the best I had 2 suck it up bc this is the gift god gave me it's hard really it is but we can just b thankful our mess makers r healthy

It's normal to get disappointed about it, and it happens! With my first I wanted a girl sooooo bad, I literally cried at the thought of a boy, of course that was my hormones I would've been happy either way looking back now. But I got a girl, so for my second I didn't really care (not that I didn't care but I was fine either way) but I know my fiancé reallyyyy wanted a boy, we're having another girl and at first I was upset that it wasn't what he wanted, but I know he couldn't be happier now. Can't say I know for sure if this is our last or not, he says he would like another, but I'm kind of done. Lol.

my hubby doesn't want any more kids...and I'm not sure I do either. making the choice to get my tubes tied or ablated is proving difficult though.

Nah! But that's doesn't make you bad though.

Oh gosh. With my first I wanted a girl. I got a boy. My second I knew he was a boy. My third was twins. I lost one early but I knew the surviving one was a boy. My fourth I was convinced I was FINALLY having a girl. Boy. Again. Now I'm 23 weeks pregnant all the old wives tales said girl. I was waiting to find out what I was having until delivery. The ultrasound tech was doing an anatomy scan (I have an IUD in so they are really monitoring growth). Of course, I'm looking at the screen and I see it floating. Another boy! Grr. She tried to tell me that it could have been an umbilical cord but I've seen that part too many times on ultrasounds. Disappointment is an understatement. Five kids. Five boys.
