well its law they provide you a pumping place with a locked door.

seriously? I had no idea and I don't think anyone else does either. A friend of mine who use to work with me was always made to go into the unisex/ family bathroom and rushed through her pumping in like 5-10 minutes by them banging on the door (management). @jasminemaye

yea I didn't know about it until the nurse at the hospital told me.

they can not force you to pump in the bathroom. they don't eat where they "go" so why should you have to pump baby's food in there? it's super unsanitary!!

depending on your state law they can't legally make you pump in a bathroom and it's their job to provide you a safe and sanitary place. call the department of labor where you work and ask

I would check into the laws where you live, but they are supposed to provide you with a place to pump that isn't a bathroom and give you ample opportunity to do so and not rush you... also check to see if they are supposed to give you "breaks" for that along with regular breaks

that's what bothered me so bad about it. I don't want to think negative but my husband and I have a lot of health probs so I wanted to breastfeed to get ahead and give my son a better fighting chance ya know. And pumping in a nasty hardware bathroom just seemed like 50 steps back. @mommyhughes4

I'm going to do that today. I mean even a regular break just for sitting and texting in the back is at least 15 minutes and I work eight hour days so I'll see what rules apply. thanks so much @sarahdrew
