at that point it's not about everyone being a part of it. it's about getting that baby out and making sure you're both ok. since its surgery it's kinda surprising they even allow one.
one if you're conscious, but usually if for any reason you have to be put all the way under then no one is allowed, I've never had a c-section but I've asked and that's how they do it at my hospital.
