Has anyone tried evening primrose oil to start soften they cervix ? My sister did it and she had her baby this morning at 39 weeks

I have my strep b test next Wednesday. What should I expect? Also I was check to see if I was dialated almost 2 weeks ago and I was completely closed and my cervix was super thick. Is there anyway ti help thin out my cervix and help myself dialate?

tmi i need ur opinions pik in comments! the dr said i was bleeding yesterday after she check for dialation im only 36weeks 4cm. Is this a sign for me to go to the hospital?

Today at my 39 week appt Im still at 1cm dialated (have been since week 37) & I'm 50% effaced...doc said she could feel Penelope's head right on top of my cervix. Then she mentioned induction...saying that she will let me go to 42 weeks! Let's just get to my due date lady! lol I would def rather not be induced & don't say 42 weeks! Might give little lady some ideas!
