If they used the dilation pill on anyone how long did it take from closed?

I took it when I had my daughter but she was already passed away before I had her and it took me two days to have her but it might be different in your case because my daughter had already passed away before I took them so my body couldn't natural dilate like yours woyld

I was 34 weeks and had to be induced cause of my preeclampsia. I wasn't dialated at all and they gave me cervidil and we waited 12 hours and nothing, so they done it again and waited 12 hours and I only got 1cm. So then they tried a dissolving pill inside of me and I got to 3cm then they had started me on pitocin.

I had them do it three times.... I went in on a Tuesday at 10 and by Wednesday the started me on the pictocin drop.. and Thursday morning. my little man was here.

It may take a couple hours-12 hours to start working. but I was 34 weeks and my baby wasn't ready to be born yet and my body wasn't ready so it may make a difference if you're full term

when they did my first iv I had a lup the size of a quarter.. and as tall as a dime standing... it was nooooo fun . I didn't really feel contractions until the pictocin.. I hope all goes well momma! @rylansmomma
