So my SO just got laid off today & I just started my new job yesterday. Funny how that worked out huh 😧?? Well anyway this job really needs more employees... like baddddd! I was thinking maybe I could get him on w/ me & they also pay $100 for referring someone. Would this be a bad idea or should I tell him? He may or may not want to but hey what ev & also I plan on working all the way up to my due date & if he does decide to he'll be right with me if anything goes wrong. So do y'all think it's rational or should I let him do his own thing?

let him do his own thing but tell him in the mean time you can apply at my job..just so we will still have double income flowing in..wouldn't hurt

As long as your employer doesn't have a problem with couples working together there shouldn't be a problem. And as long as you all are mature about working together too. My work had couples working together and I didn't know until they told me about it lol

@junetwofive16, it's up to you all really in the long run. Let him think about it and then let him looks for some jobs on his own. Don't wanna make it seem like that's the only job he can take

@meboom01, Yessssss that's what I'm sayin & i don't want him to feel some type of way. Like bay'b you have choices you don't have to its just a suggestion/option because he's real picky & iffy at times.

I mean I'm super picky about where I want to work after little girl is born because I want something that would look good for my future career choice and my boyfriend just wants me to have a full time job lol

I'd let him know and suggest applying in the meantime while looking for other jobs. my husband and I work two different jobs together on the same shifts and personal love it.

@aburch1527, yea I've been telling him to apply soon as he found out but hecan get a little sidetracked which bothers the hell out of me. & thing with this job it's from 9-7 so we would be on the same shift unless he's in the back being a lab tech (which is what I wanted to do but that's ok I'm satisfied ) but I def wouldn't see him as much.
