is he laying flat or reclined a little?

just reclined a little. he only fires it once in a while but the other morning he ate his bottle I burped him and then stood up with him and he puked everywhere & he didn't even gag himself that time.

I would tell his doctor at the next appointment, look up aspiration . that's what my daughter used to do when she was a baby and I had to thicken her milk to help with her "spit up" and gaging. her spit up was more like throw up, it took the doctor a while to believe me but she finally got her tested for it. it did eventually go away:)
