Okay. So, my son will be 4 weeks old Thursday. This evening he has been wanting to eat what I consider an insane amount for how old he is. I've noticed him eating more the last few days. He ate 4 ounces and an hour later he wanted to eat again so I made him another bottle with 4 ounces and he ate about 2.5/3 ounces. I don't want to over feed him. Any advice?

Burp him and see if he's satisfied. If not, give him some more.

@mrsmoore, beat me to the response lol it drives me almost batty when my daughter does this, I'm up every hour and a half nursing lol

@sarahdrew, @junesmommy15 so I should just give him as much as it takes to satisfy him and it won't hurt? I'm a FTM and I feel so clueless and I worry about everything.

I say yes, I get up and nurse my daughter everyone when she goes thru a spurt, however I am not 100%sure about formula feeding... I would get more opinions on this... you could also contact the Dr in the morning and see what they say

@sarahdrew, he sees his doctor Thursday I plan on asking then. I just wanted some opinions until then since I'm nervous about it

definitely feed your baby if he seems hungry, hes growing!!!!!
