I think I pissed my mom off with this whole "might be having a c section thing". she told her boss that if it happens she might not make it into work at 10 am tomorrow because she wants to be there with me and hold my daughter. well I told her that I don't want everyone there afterwards, if I have to have a section, because the doctors and nurses being around will be stressful enough, and I'm already stressing about it as it is. if it happens, I'm gonna be resting and taking care of my newborn and doing whatever the doctors tell me to do (like walking around and taking a shower and whatever else), I don't need her there calling my baby HER baby and being in my face. I love my mother and I'm glad she wants to be there, so don't give me any shit about "she just wants to help and blah blah blah". if you knew my mother, you'd understand why I complain about her so much.

My mom isn't allowed around until I come home. She stresses me out big time. I compromised and she's waiting at my house for when we get home so I can rest or whatever.

I don't mind having my mom around even with my first child she's been there during labor and everything. she's a big help for me and even got leaves work for 2 weeks. well I understand yoy though. I hope she respects your decisions.

completely understand whay your going through. my mother is always up my ass with questions like what my style of mothering will be or if shes going to be in the room if i do it natural. but i just got news i might have to have a c section cause of my spine issues and i have to tell her not to come right away if that happens. not ready for that fight lol.

@jana.bear, @littlemonkey she drives me nuts. I could sigh for no reason and she immediately says "are you ok? what's wrong?"

Funny you mention that, my husband does that to me. I sigh constantly because I have severe anxiety w/o I tend to hold my breathe and I could sigh for no reason. Biggest pet peeve is when people hound me for an explanation for ever deep breathe.

@jana.bear, I do it my hubby because it usually means he's irritated about something lol but I do it just because it feels good to sigh sometimes and the constant "are you ok?" pisses me off
