okay ladies I'm needing some advice u have a 2 year old daughter she don't listen to me period but when her dad home she listen to him! what do I need to do?? her dad work from 1-10 she refused what I say!!

put her in time out when she doesn't listen. if she's doing something she shouldn't be, spank her and then put her in time out. go 90's mama on her. disciplining her is not abusing her no matter what people think

@arijane316, thanks I have even stressed with her today and I'm sure it's Wnot healthy stressed since I'm pregnant again when I spanked her she screams more at me I just don't know what to do anymore

she'll learn eventually. stressing isn't healthy, just don't overdo it. I'm all for disciplining children the way parents of 90's kids did. there was nothing abusive about it and we turned into respectable people (most of us anyway lol)

@arijane316, I agree to that but my husband is totally different when she in trouble or something he just sit there and baby her and she gets away with almost anything! he don't believe in smacking his baby girls I mean I understand that his pride and joy but damn she does need to start listening to her mom! lol yeah I know I am the respectful one here I am the oldest outt 5 boys and I'm the only girl so my dad was always hard on me I just think maybe he would of slacked off just some I wouldn't be so nice that I am today

Your man sounds like my friends husband. he's trying to be her friend instead of her father and that's not how it works. I may be having my first, but I'm not a dummy lol I do know how parenting works. he needs to stop trying to be her friend ot she's never going to learn right from wrong
